SN74LVT245B: Is there a clamp protection diode on the A/B pin?

Part Number: SN74LVT245B

Is there a clamp diode on the 245 pin?
BB0~BB7 of A1~A8 are key signals, and FPGA_BB0~FPGA_BB7 of B1~B8 are FPGA input signals. 245 will be damaged when the button is pressed live. In series with a 100Ω resistor between BB0~BB7 and A1~A7, 245 will still be damaged.

  • Hi Rengui,

I'm not really following the second half of the post, and I don't see a button in the schematic so don't have a good response for that. However, to answer your question there is no positive side clamping diode but there is one on the negative side.
