Hello

Which files should be selected when import ISBS Models in simulation tools ? customer's application is 3.3V transfer to 1.8V ,thanks

  • Hi Fandy,
Are you talking about the IBIS model for the TXB0104?

If you open the .ibs file in a text editor, there is detailed information regarding the model at the start of the file. Here's an excerpt:
    | This device can be powered at the following Vccs:
    | 1.2 volt Vcca
    | 1.5 volt Vcca
    | 1.8 volt Vcca
    | 2.5 volt Vcca
    | 3.3 volt Vcca
    | 1.8 volt Vccb
    | 2.5 volt Vccb
    | 3.3 volt Vccb
    | 5.0 volt Vccb
    | Vccb >= Vcca
    |
    | This file provides unique models under the [Model Selector] for each Vcc.
    | For operation at a specific Vcc, select the appropriate model after each
    | [Model Selector] keyword.
  • What is the difference between the two models with OS & no OS ? we use the SIWAVE and Sigrity to simulate.
  • Hello,
Did you have trouble opening the ibis file in a text editor? Or is the content confusing? I would like to know so I can update the file to be clearer in the future.

This is explained on line 55 of the file:

    | - 1.2 Release IBIS file on 03/09/09, contains addition of
    | one-shot turned on I/O circuitry in in the *_OS Models.
