I am using SN74AVC8T245RHLR in a design.

Can you let us know if the exposed pad in the center can be left floating or it must be connected to ground?

If the datasheet does not mention anything else, the pad should be grounded.

Hi Sivaraj,
Grounding the center pad is best, however it is not a hard requirement for logic devices. You can leave it floating.
