SN74LV123A: SN74LV123ADR Power consumption

I am using the part SN74LV123ADR in my design. I want to know the maximum supply current drawn by the device at VCC = 5V. Value is required to prepare power analysis.

    If you want to do a power analysis for the SN74LV123A, you first need to know how it's going to be operating.

    What's the load?

    What timing components are being used?

    What is the input (trigger) waveform and frequency?

    Are all other inputs being held at Vcc or GND?

    Once I have this information, I can help to give an estimate of instantaneous current draw and total power consumption for the device.

    If you just want an estimate, then I would say typically this device can draw ~50mA instantaneously when charging a relatively large timing capacitor (1uF). The average current will be much lower, however, typically in the < 1mA range.
