I'm working with an LM4041AIM3-1.2 (formerly a National Semi part), in package MF03A.
Looking at the package drawing on the datasheet, the "Gage Plane" looks like it is located between the 2 bends in the leads. I'm trying to determine the maximum lead height.
If the Gage Plane (at 0.008") is indeed between the 2 bends, and their inside is 0.004" radius, and the leads are 0.005" thick, that puts the max lead height around 0.018". If I just figure the Gage Plane
is halfway up the leads, then the max lead height is about 0.016". I just need to verify that the max lead height is less than 0.031", and this looks like a pretty safe margin, unless there's a straight
section between the 2 bends that isn't shown on the drawing. Can you tell me if my estimates are good, or if there is a straight section that's not on the drawing?
