Setup time and Hold Time

I'd be glad to answer, but I am not clear on what the question is.  You are asking about the relationship between HOLD time and SETUP time, correct? But with what type of device, and what technology? 

For example, are you asking about a latch, such as SN54LS73A ?  

And what technology?  AC, ALS, HC, LVC, F, etc?? 

Or a different type of circuit? Please provide more detail.

Hi Leo,

It was a telephonic round
First they asked me the Definition of setup and hold time,I answered it.
Then they asked the above Questions "why set up time is more than hold time."-I don't have an answer.
"Is hold time can be negative or zero"-I don't have an answer.
