SN74ACT32: Max Case Temparature

We don't specify a max case temp just the maximum junction temp (150 C). Does the hot spot come close to that temp?

our test departement take the ambiant Temp. as case temp. and we are about 3°C above the max Ta : 85°C,

therefore we are looking for real Case temperature of this component, just to be sur that we are within the speciifcation.

Hi Dylan,

thank you for the document , juste to clarification, our Module was tested in Climatic chamber by 60°C and we measure the temperature on different components ( the case temprerature ) and by ambiants temp. 60°C the case temps of SN74ACT32 is 88°C .
my question is : how namy degree has the junction ,when the case temperature is 88°C, therefore we need the theta JC.
in the data sheet we have the derating for the Power dissipation, by 70°C is 608mW, the Junction Temp. is about 150°C with Theta JC we can calculate the MAX Case temp. that what we need.
