SN74LVC1G07: Output leakage current

Part Number: SN74LVC1G07
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AUP1G07

I need to know the Ioz current of this device?

What is the max leakage current of the output when at Hi-Z?

do you have any 3.3v  parts that drop in with a guaranteed IOz

  • I found this but is says the part is not characterized yet.

  • Hey Peter,
The answer you linked is still valid. Additionally, it's unlikely that the SN74LVC1G07 will be recharacterized due to the cost involved and the age of the part.

If you're looking for a 3.3V part with a lower output leakage in the Hi-Z state, I would recommend the SN74AUP1G07. It also does not have Ioz characterized in the datasheet, however it's maximum leakage is only 0.6uA compared to the 10uA on the LVC device.

In normal operation, I would expect the actual leakage to be in the low nA's.

I unfortunately don't know why these parts didn't have Ioz spec'd when they were originally created.
  • Thank you for the information.  I think we need to investigate the AUP parts.  Our current source is only 10uA.  If Ioz  can vary up to uA in worse case, this would introduce more error then we would want.
