TINA/Spice/SN74LVC1G57: SPICE model for SN74LVC1G75

Part Number: SN74LVC1G57
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi Sir,

My customer would like to know if TI have SPICE model for SN74LVC1G75?

I know we have IBIS model, but customer's simulation tool could not run it.

Thanks,

Patrick

  • Hi Patrick,

What was the issue with the IBIS model? Was the sw used not compatible with the IBIS model file or the specific IBIS model had issues opening in the sw? You could also directly contact the webench forum for IBIS model compatibility issues.

I referred to the spice model library below:
    webench.ti.com/.../
I couldnt find any spice model for the SN74LVC1g57 device. Since this is a configurable device, what function is being used? Maybe we have the Spice model for that function.
  • Hi Patrick,

I was able to use the Ibis model code from the product folder to form a model and run sims on it. I didn't have any issues with this, so answering Shreyas's questions about the software will provide more insight here.

Also as he said, since its a configurable logic device we don't have an exact spice model for it. However, if you share what configuration they have it in we may be able to provide a model that will simulate that function.
  • Hi Sir,

Customer would like to use TINA to run with SN74LVC1G75, could you teach me how to make IBIS model to run on TINA?

    Thanks,

    Patrick

  • Hi Patrick,

This may also be a question more appropriate to the IBIS modeling team, but I'm fairly certain you can't simulate IBIS models using TINA. For that, you would need a spice model. Again, this is something we can probably provide if we know what configuration they want to use that device in.
