SN74HC259: Latch enable signal question

Hi team,

If the rise and fall times (Δt/Δv, t_r, t_f) are not met for the latch enable signal (!G) on the SN74HC259, what could happen? Specifically of interest, if you look at the attached scope waveform, the pink trace (4) has a rise time of  >2us.

I’ve had a look at the following document http://www.ti.com/lit/an/sdya009c/sdya009c.pdf which gives more information on operation outside recommended conditions, but can’t see anything related to this particular issue.
