Hi,

in a device like SN74AVC8T245, would the chip get damaged if one of the supplies VCCB is powered up while VCCA and DIR pins are at 0V

    Hi Joseph,

    This device will not get damaged with one of the supplies powered off.
    In fact, the IO ports are in Hi-Z during this time since this device supports Ioff Vcc isolation feature.
    What is the application and could you consider using the newly released SN74AXC8T245?
