LSF0204: LSF0204 is or not support low pin count (LPC) signals

Part Number: LSF0204

Dear Sirs,

My customer used LSF0204 for LPC signals application.

They are found the Vil still have 1V voltage on both sides, how to fix this issue?

  • Hi Henry,

I see that the schematic has the 200k biasing resistor in the wrong place.
Please refer to the datasheet regarding the biasing resistors placement.

Refer to the app note regarding the factors which affect the Vol of the LSF devices. Strong pullup resistors lead to greater current which flows into the driver side, if the driver is unable to sink all the current (IOL) and yet maintain the Vol, then the input of the LSF will rise up leading to the output of the LSF to also rise. For the 3.3V side, are 200ohm being used as pullup? Increase it to 1K or 4.7K and the Vol / Vil will go down.
