Hi dear supporting team,

customer want to use TXS0108 as the level shifter btw FPGA and TF Card(1.8V to 3..3V), is it ok？tks！

Hi Vera,

This device can do that level translation, but to know if it is a perfect fit I could use some more info. If they are intending to translate I2C signals, then this device is perfect.

hi Dylan,

tks for reply!t is not I2C signal. it is TF card signal which include 4 data and 1 CLK &1 control. below is the sch they want to use.

Hi Vera,

Thanks for the additional info. This looks like quad SPI (4 bidirectional data lines, 1 CLK, and 1 CS). If this is the case I wouldn't use the TXS0108. Do you know the desired data rate?

Hi Dylan,

the speed needed is >12M, and it seems they need pull up at both input and output. so it is OD application. from the d/s, it seems TXS0108 could not support. I promoted LSF0108, is it ok? tks al lot!

Vera,

I am not sure if the Quad SPI is open drain interface. You should be ok to use the TXB0106 for 12Mbps with low cap loading.
The LSF0108 can also be used if in case this is not a Quad SPI or if the signals are indeed open drain.
The pullup resistors and output cap loading must be low enough to support the data rate. The driver must be able to sink all the current into it and still maintain the desired low level (Vol)
