TXS0104E: IBIS module for TXS0104

Part Number: TXS0104E
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0102

Hi team,

I go through the previous post and it seems we are developing the IBIS module for TXS0104.

So I want to know if the IBIS module is ready and can you help to provide the IBIS module to me?

Lacey

Thanks a lot!

  • Hi Lacey,
If the model isn't on the web, then it's probably not ready for release yet, but for a status update I think Shreyas would be the best person to answer this since he usually works with our translation parts, however he's out of the office this week. Can he get back to you upon his return (next week)?
  • Hi Emrys,

I have went through the post and there is a post indicate that the TXS0102 has the same IBIS module as the TXS0104, so can you help to firstly provide the TXS0102 IBIS module for me as I also can't find the IBIS module of TXS0102 in the web.

My customer is a little urgent for the IBIS module for their simulation.

    Lacey

    Thanks a lot!

  • Hi Lacey,

Could link that post for me? I'm doing some digging to see if I can find any more details for these models.
  • Hi Dylan,
    Here is the link.

    Thanks a lot!
  • Hi Lacey,

Thanks for the link. From that post I see that the TXS0102 IBIS model might of had an issue as well. Since Shreyas has been in communications with the modeling team, I won't have an update on the timeline for these models to be fixed. When Shreyas gets back to the office, I will have him respond to this post.
  • Hi Lacey,

The IBIS model is not suitable for passive translation device like the TXS or the LSF.
As I had talked to the modeling team about these devices, they suggested that it wont have a suitable response and their inability to support the IBIS models for the TXS and LSF devices.
I had recommended the models to be removed from the site to not have the issues.
In my opinion, using the HSPICe model is ideal. However, there is no HSPICE model available.
  • Hi Shreyas,
They are using the HSPICE 17 software to simulate the device.
Because there are so many applications and the number of their production is large, it's a must for them to do the simulation.

So if we can't provide the IBIS and the HSPICE module, is there other method for them to do the simulation.
if they can't simulate the device, it's hard for them to use our device.

    Thanks a lot!
