SN74LVC8T245: Conversion from B side to A side

Hi Team,

I have a question on SN74LVC8T245.
I am thinking of converting from 1.8V to 3.3V.
Is 1.8V input on B side (Input) and 3.3V output on A side (Output) possible?
Is the condition VCCA <VCCB mandatory?

There is no "VCCA <VCCB" condition.

In fact, the datasheet tells you explicitly about this case:

Are you using all the 8 channels on the device? Is there an interface supported here and any requirements on the data rate /speed?
Would you consider using the SN74AXC8T245 which is optimized for the 1.8V<> 3.3V operation?

I did not see the content described in the data sheet. I'm sorry.

Customers will use all 8 channels of this device.
I don't think there are any special requirements for data rates.

Ishwaita,

There is no restriction on Vcca or Vccb for the SN74AXC8T245. The dual rails are fully configurable across the 0.65 to 3.6V voltage range.

In case you have more information on the spec requirements, interface etc, please let us know.
