TXB0104: Replacement Part

Hello,

We're looking for a replacement for TXB0104 but without the automatic direction sensing and same UQFN package. I tried looking for a part, but the closest product I found (LSF0204) also seems to have this function.

According to the customer, the chip is failing to sense the direction correctly so he's looking for a replacement with an option to set the signal direction manually.

Can you please help in selecting the closest possible solution?

The TXS0104E also has automatic direction sensing, but there are some applications where it is more tolerant than the TXB.

The TXB has no direction pin, so there is no direction-controlled translator with the same pinout. (Does the pinout matter, or only the package size?)

Hi Elisha,

There is no P2P DIR controlled device similar to the TXB0104 because of the additional DIR pin.

You could consider using the SN74AXC4T245 for 4 channel DIR controlled device which operates from 0.65 to 3.6V.

Thanks a lot, Shreyas and Clemens! I just realized that I was looking in the "Auto" bidirectional folder, and those with direction control are in a different folder.
