LSF0204: for SPI application, is it have to use Open-Drain mode?

in LSF0204 data sheet, I found below description. So, is it means that have to use open-drain mode for SPI application? thanks a lot.

Hey Damien,

If its normal SPI, then the signals are unidirectional so it won't have to be open-drain.
