SN74AXC8T245: 3.3V Tolerant Inputs

Hello,

Given the following:

- VCCA = 1.8V

- VCCB = 3.3V

- A-side = inputs

Can I drive the A-side inputs with a 3.3V signal? Will this damage the part? I see nothing in the datasheet where a maximum input voltage is specified in relation to either VCCA or VCCB.

For the SN74AXC8T245 there is no upper clamp diode so yes you can apply a higher input than the supply, as long as it is not higher than the ABS max that is listed.
