SN74LVC2G07: SN74LVC2G07 output can't follow input

Hi there

Output always high even input is square waveform
While place a 1Mohm resistor or Scope probe at input between pin2(GND) and pin3(2A), output follows input, becoming normal

would you comment why this happens?

This sounds as if the input is never driven low.

What is connected to the input? A button?

Hi Richard,

As Clemens as stated, it doesn't seem like the input is driven low. Some scope shots would shed more light on this issue.
