Looking at the ST data sheet I see no reason for compatibility issues. Yes, our TXS0108 will work in the same applications as the ST device.
I could not find the ST internal pull-up values on their data sheet. Our R pua and R pub have a value of 40 kΩ when the output is driving low. R pua and R pub have a value of 4 kΩ when the output is driving high
For the TXS0108 -
Max Data Rates
– 60 Mbps (Push Pull)
– 2 Mbps (Open Drain)
Open Drain describes the device driving the TXS0108E.
If the device driving the TXS has an open drain driver the speed will be 2Mbps.
If the device driving the TXS uses a push-pull driver, the max datarate will be higher.
Thanks ,
I still waiting for the answer about package issue pin to pin competblity compare to ST
TI TXS0108EZXYR (ZXY Package ) >>>>>>>>>> Pin A1 is VCCA
ST ST2378EBJR (Package-Flip-Chip 20)>>>>>>Pin A1 is I/O VL8
Identification pin is close to A1 !!!!!!!!
It does look like if you turn the part around, the pinout is compatible.
You may want to double check this.
Also is different:
ST VOLC (low level output i/ovcc >>>>>>>>>IO=1.0mA
TI VOLB @VCCA=3V >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>IOL=0.4mA
Please explain.
