SN74LVC1G126: possible to have 5V input with SN74LVC1G126?

Hi!

The description says: "this is a single buffer designed for 1.65-V to 3.6V Vcc operation."

but in the spec you say VCC is max 5.5 V and also with specing Vih and Vil, you mention, speced with VCC 4.5 to 5.5 V.

What is correct then?

This is a customer question.

    Hi Marion,

    "this is a single buffer designed for 1.65-V to 3.6V Vcc operation." This is to advertise that the part can operate at such low voltages.

    Please always refers the recommended operating conditions tables to know where the device can be operated. Vcc is operable from 1.65V to 5.5V.

    Thanks for bringing this typo to our attention, I'll make sure to mark this down so it can be fixed in the future. If you come across something like this again, always go with whats in the spec tables.
