Hi,
customer use SN74HC164 in LED display board, have a problem is that when the power up, the AB pin are low and CLK is low, the output is random. the CLR pin is force to high by external reisistor.
I check the datasheet, when the CLK=0, the output is the same with the last data. we do more test as below:
1. power up, set the ouotput to fixed data.
2. power down.
3. power up, measure the output, they are random.
could you give some suggestions? thank you
