SN74AXC8T245: Need similar part with better delay specification

Hello,

I am looking for a part for MII, RMII and RGMII interface voltage translation between 1.8 V - 3.3 V, up and down translation. Uni-directional is okay.

Requirements:

  1. < 10 ns max delay between input and output pins
  2. < 10 ns delay difference part to part
  3. < 1 ns delay skew channel to channel

Here are my questions:

  1. It looks like for my voltage range the part meets requirement 1, can you confirm 2 and 3?
  2. Do the propagation delay values in 6.11, 6.12 and 6.13 also account for requirement 2?
  3. Is there a specification on the datasheet for requirement 3?
  4. Is there a part that would be better suited given the application and timing requirements?

    Hi Vibhu,

    This would be the best suited part for your requirements.

    2. We do not guarantee any values for part to part skew. However, <10ns seems to be a reasonable expectation if parts are ordered all at once and they come from the same batch.

    3.We guarantee a <1ns channel to channel skew for our logic devices. This spec is typically not listed in our datasheets.
