Hello

can i use the part TXS0108EPWR as a buffer by giving both vcca and vccb 3.3v,i want this as bidirectional transceiver

The TXS uses passive switches: it does not buffer the signals.

It is not possible to have a bidirectional transceiver without a direction control signal.

By definition, the auto bidirectional translators are weak buffers in order to allow the input signal to over drive the present state.

The TXB is weak buffer providing 20uA of DC drive strength; ideal to interface high impedance loads.

TXS have internal FET with pullup resistors on both sides for allowing voltage level translation. The oneshot circuitry provides momentary AC drive on both TXS and TXB.

can you please suggest any part with bidirectional or auto directional tranciever with 3.3 level ,main aim is to use it as buffer at 3.3v with 8 i/o

A transceiver with a direction input is the SN74LVC245A.

A transceiver with automatic direction sensing does not exist, and cannot exist.

You could also consider using the SN74AXC8T245 which can work as buffer with 3.3V on either sides.
