We are looking for Voltage Translator for RGMII application (Translation between 2.5V and 3.3V). We found one part number: SN74AVC16T245-Q1 in your website. We understand that for RGMII application the data rate per each bit is 250 Mbps (125 MHz). So please confirm:

1. Whether the mentioned part ca be used for RGMII application, each channel supporting 250Mbps.

2. What is Data rate achievable when data is transmitting from Port A to Port B with VCCA= 3.3V and VCCB= 2.5V ?
3. What is Data rate achievable when data is transmitting from Port B to Port A with VCCA= 3.3V and VCCB= 2.5V ?

Hi Shreyas,

With your supply configuration, you can likely achieve up to 380 Mbps. We don't spec data rate for these devices, so this would need to be tested. The data rate will also depend on the load, so its best to test with the expected system load.
