Hi,
The IBIS model LSF0102 is unable to assigned as Output buffer for the pin 3,4 were as in datasheet its mentioned as IO Pin .Kindly help me with the solution.
Thanks,

Hi Subashri,
Please do not create duplicate posts for the same question. The Hyperlynx model is not the best model to judge the output of that device. It is a passive FET with unbuffered outputs. I would not recommend you use the IBIS model to judge the performance of the output of the device.
I have a SPICE model for this device. Can this help you? The .TSC file can directly be opened up in TINA-TI.
Thanks!

Hi Karan,
Since i'm in need of different IBIS model for the same part number which can act as output buffer, have rised a quetion to TI.
Thanks for the SPICE file but i'm in need of the IBIS model.
Can you help me with the model which can be used instead of the model(LSF0102) .
Kindly let me know if any.
Thanks,
Subashri.
Hi Subashri,
What exactly are you looking for? The LSF device is not a buffer. Even the real world part cannot be used an output buffer. It is a passive FET.
If you watch the videos on the above link you will understand what the internals of the device are.
Previous E2E question that has similar question. Since the outputs are not buffered, they will not change on their own. You cannot use the IBIS models to have the outputs change state. This is why I provided you with a SPICE model. If you want a translator with buffered outputs, then you will need to operate a direction pin to change the direction of your translation. You can use something like the SN74AXC2T45 for example.
Thanks!
