My question is regarding the application of the SN74HC253D 4-to-1 Data Selector/ MUX.
I am interfacing 4 separate PIC MCUs with one System Control PIC MCU through the UART TXD and RXD lines. My intension is to hard wire the 1OE* and 2OE* lines of the SN74HC253D to GND so that all I need the Sys PIC MCU to do is change the A and B select lines to communicate over the TXD and RXD lines with any of the 4 Slave MCUs, is my thinking correct?
