SN74AUP1G17: limitation of output rise time and fall time @ 1.2V

Hi Team,

I use SN74AUP1G17 to re-drive a clock source, 1,25V 38.5MHz, its rise time is under 2ns. However, the output of SN74AUP1G17 is not fast enough, its rise time is around 6-8ns. So I would like to know what is the limitation of its output rise time and fall time @ 1.2V?

The rise/fall time depends mostly on the capacitive load.

Anyway, the AUP family is optimized for low power. For fast edges, use the SN74AUC1G17 instead.

May I know what is the fastest rise/fall time of SN74AUP1G17 and SN74AUC1G17, depends on certain value of capacitive load?

The greater your load, the slower your output rise time will be.
