Repair of EEC-IV FORD tractor series 40

Hi everybody,

A friend gave me an old transmission/EDC control unit from Ford series 40. His tractor is almost 30 years old. He got a problem with the Electronic Draft Control. I just open the panel, I cannot identify several components from TI.

There are two of them :

- TI 71001FB (DIP 16)

- TI 70009GB (DIP 8)

I didn't find any informations about them, mayble there are special components made only for this control unit.

If someone can help me, I'd be very happy.

    Hello Fabrice,

     I am not finding any reference to either of those devices you stated.  As suggested, they may have been special proprietary devices, in which case, we could not provide any information due to NDA restrictions. 

      I suggest you contact the manufacturer of the Draft Control and ask for a schematic of the control board. 

    (And just curious, how do you know these are TI components?  TI logo on the devices?)
