The following E2E thread states “If you are considering operating <=3.6V, consider switching over to the newly released SN74AXC1T45 device.”.

What would be wrong if using SN74LVC1T45 at <=3.6V?

There is nothing actually wrong, but AXC family devices have better electrical characteristics at lower voltages.

Hey Kazuhiko,

On top of what Clemens stated, I believe Shreyas was saying if the supply you are using is less than or equal to 3.6 V then you can consider using the AXC family. Since LVC can go up to 5 V and you didn't give a supply value, he had to word it as such. Both devices will work, I hope that clears up the confusion.
