Hi,

I use a 3.3V supply from a buck converter to supply the NAND-Gate. May I ask you please, in case of Zero Input voltage to buck or Floating Input of the buck, what would the Output of the NAND-Gate in this case? will it be tied to some pull-up or to some pull-down resistor? or Floating?

Hi Amr,

This device has Ioff which will disable the outputs (making them hi-z) when the supply is 0 V. However, this is not guaranteed if the supply pin is just left floating.

Hi,

thank you for the hint. But what if I pull up the Output while the supply is just floating?

If V_CC still happens to have some voltage, then the current through the resistor might continue to power the device.
