TXB0108: TXB0108 pullup/down resistor issue

Hi,
In the datasheet, TXB0108 pull-up and pull-down resistors value must higher than 50k, i'm wondering if we have some sockets that have lower limits? like pull-up and pull-down resistors value is 10k and the socket can work?

And do we have a spec to measure this? i'm not sure if Iol and Ioh can measure this capability.

    The TXB0302/‌TXB0304 allow 20 kΩ resistors.

    That limit is a consequence of the weak output drivers, which are necessary to allow other devices to override the voltage level, which is necessary to allow the automatic direction sensing. The TXB010x have 4 kΩ resistors, the TXB030x, 1 kΩ:
