Require Opto Isolator or Digital Isolator

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7760, ISO1212

Dear Sir,

I am looking for Equivalent part of ILQ32-X007T.
Instead of 4 Channels. i required more channels if possible due to space constraints in my PCB.

We are using 16 No's of this IC's for 64 Digital Input signals in one PCB.

Digital Isolator are also okay. more channels are required.

Please suggest best possible solution.

Regards
Murthy

  • Murthy,

We have the ISO7760 6-channel digital isolator and we have versions with different channel configurations. However in order to make a proper recommendation we need to know what kind of signal you are isolating and how much isolation you need. Are you isolating something such as SPI?

    Respectfully,

    Lucas

  • Dear Sir,

Just 0 V or 5 V Logic Signal...Not Communications signals (SPI,I2C,UART,USB,CAN,...No Such signals will be present).

2 KV Isolation also okay for us.we want to isolate  64 Digital Input signals in one PCB.

    Regards

    Anand

  • Anand,

Is the input voltage 0 to 5V as well as the output? If so then the ISO776x will most likely be the best for having the most channels per device.

If the input voltage is 24V or higher, we have the ISO1212 that is designed for digital input applications. In can receive power from the inputs.

    Respectfully,

    Lucas

  • Hi Murthy, Anand,

I hope you find ISO7760 suitable to your application and you are able to use 11 of these devices to isolated 64 digital input channels. I will go ahead and mark this thread resolved. If you still have any more questions then please reply back on this thread. Thanks.
