SN74LS145: Replacement Part with Higher Thermal Operating Condition in the the Same Package

I am looking for a part to replace the SN74LS145 that has an ambient operating temperature rating of at least 85C. I know the data sheet calls out SN54LS145, however, I cannot seem to find this part in a surface mount package that matches. Ideally, the only thing that should be different for the replacement part is the operating temp. So the package size, number of pins, pinout, operating voltage, and technology (BJT) should be the same. Does this part exist?

Hi Stephen,

Unfortunately, the only packages with higher thermal ratings for the SN54LS145 are CFP, LCCC, and CDIP. If maintaining the same package is an absolute necessity, the CD4028B has an SOIC-16 package and is rated for the temperature you're looking for. Unfortunately, the pin-out, logic, and technology are different, and you'll need to see if it meets your design criteria.
