TXS0108E: In push-pull application

Part Number: TXS0108E

Hi team,

Customer want to TXS0108E in their application, 2 I2C line, 1 GPIO, 5 I2S signal;

In our datasheet, it says, for push-pull application, TXB010x is better option, could you help us understand the reason? And what's the max speed we could use in push-pull application?

Hope you could give some comments.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Will

  • Will,

    TXS0108e is ideal for open drain signals with its built in smart pullup resistors.

    It also supports push pull signal interface like the I2S with speeds of min 60Mbps and possibly higher in nominal operation.

    Would this be sufficient for your application?

    TXB cannot support open drain interface but can support pushpull interface. The speeds can be comparable to TXS0108e.

    If the power is off, there is 0leakage in the devices too.
