LSF0204: About Input / output pull up resistor

Part Number: LSF0204

Hi,

If the input signal (MCU) is push-pull,
It is not necessary to install pull-up resistors at the input and output of LSF0204.
Is my understanding correct?
And Please let me know if you have any concerns about that.

Regards,
Yusuke

  • Voltage-Level Translation With the LSF Family says:

[…] When translating down from B to A, this allows the A-side voltage to equal … Vref_A without any pullups. […]  Pullups to Vref_A are not required but allow heavier loads on the low side and help with signal integrity issues that may arise. Pullups on the low side (typically A-side) are only required if translating down to a voltage different than Vref_A.

So in most cases, you do need a pull-up resistor at the output.
