Hi team,

My customer is using two 16244 in the system( left side and right side). Whether we need to use the pull up resistors at right side when remove the left side board? Because the chip has the bus hold function, what's the details of the bus hold function? Thanks.

Hi Frank,

The purpose of a bus hold circuit is to ensure inputs are always held at a valid logic level, and thus, eliminate the need for pull up or pull down resistors.
