TXS0108E-Q1: Voh spec (VCCA x 0.67)

Part Number: TXS0108E-Q1

Hi team,

Can I ask a question about Voh of TXS0108E-Q1?

The datasheet specifies VCCA x 0.67 for Min. Voh. However, this level is lower than Min. spec of receiver device. In that case, do you not recommend using TXS0108E-Q1?

For example,

   Receiver VIH(MIN) = 2.355V

   VCCA = 3.3V -> VOHA(MIN) = 0.67x3.3 = 2.221V

Thanks,

Sam Lee

  • Hey Sam,

    If the only thing the TXS device is connected to is a CMOS input  (which is most likely the case with the receiver) then i dont think this will be a problem. CMOS inputs are high impedance with low leakage currents, so the Voh of the TXS device will be close to 3.3 V.
