LSF0108: Low side power supply off state

Part Number: LSF0108

Hello experts,

I got question about low side Vref=0V state.
If low side Vref=0V, is it no problem for this device?

For example, Vref_A=3.3V and Vref_B=1.8V, when low side device will be in sleep, Vref_B will be 0V.
Reference voltage range is 0~5V for recommended operating conditions.
If we need to take care something, could you tell me?

I would appreciate if you would give me advice.

Thanks and best regards,
Ryo Akashi
  • Vref_A must be lower than Vref_B.

The recommended operating conditions allow Vref_A = 0 V. But in this case, the biasing current will still flow from Vref_B into Vref_A (possible raising the Vref_A voltage and thus powering up other devices), and a voltage of 0 V at any Ax pin will still switch on the pass transistor.

To disable the translator, you need to pull EN low.
