Hi Team,
I have 2 questions,
1. In the datasheet, SON package has 2 body size, how could we identify them with the same part number?
2. What's the difference between SN74LVC1G08DRY2 & SN74LVC1G08DRYR, only outer packing? Why with the same SN74LVC1G08DRY2, we see different reel size?
Thanks.
Hi Holly,
This device comes in two SON packages, DRY and DSF. The DSF package is a square package, and has the dimensions 1.0 x 1.0 mm, the DRY package is the one with the 1.45 x 1.0 mm dimensions.
As for the difference between the DRY2 and DRYR packing indicators, I'm reaching out to our product engineering team, and I'll get back with you shortly.
Thanks!
Chad Crosby
The only difference between DRY2 and DRYR is the quadrant assignment for the pin 1 orientation in the tape.
There are multiple possible reel sizes for the same ordering code; this is probably caused by different manufacturing sites. As far as I can see, they are compatible with each other.
Hi Holly,
These are the following packing indicators:
R - Parts ship in larger reel
T - Parts ship in smaller reel
2 - Parts ship in same reel as -R indicator, however the pin orientation inside of the reel pocket is different. This was done because of customer request.
Thanks!
Chad Crosby
