Digital signal amplification and attenuation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CD40109B

Hello all,

I want to perform a Hardware in loop testing for automotive application using simulator which is not yet fixed.

To achieve this, I want to convert the digital signal coming from the simulator (16 V, 10 V, 5 V or 3.3 V different level because the simulator is not yet fixed) to be attenuated to 3.3 V for going to the digital input pins of the micro-controller.

Similarly, I want the digital output from the micro-controller at 3.3 V to be amplified to 3.3 V, 5 V, 10 V or 16 V depending on the simulator to be given as an input to the simulator.

Please suggest me how this can be achieved?
