temp question of SN74LVC1G175DBVR

Hi,

I have customer design in SN74LVC1G175DBVR for their  lighting applicaton and would like to stick with the sot23-6 package.  The temp rating of this part is -40to85C.  In their ballast it could see temperature up to 95C while being energized.  They would like to know what would happen if they were to operate it in this temp range.  Would the certain parameters come outside the min and max ratings or would they risk damaging the part.  They suspect that they would not damage the part as usually the junction temp can go much higher than 85C.

They  are using this at a very low frequency (60Hz) and we can tolerate quite significant propagation delay variance in excess of 1millisecond.

Can someone help on this question?

Thanks,

Michael
