SN74LVC2G17DCKR: Pin1 location

Hi Team,

The atteched is SN74LVC2G17DCKR.
However I can not find out the Pin1 Index Area shown as shadow in the datasheet.
Could you help to clarity pin1 location?
Does the line in the left side mean the shadow?

The long bar at the left indicates pin 1. The index area shows that you have to look at the bottom of the bar, not at the top.
