Hi ,
We are using TXB0104 and connected both VCCA & VCCB with 1.8V from single voltage source.
From datasheet, both timing requirements & switching characteristics show it works in both VCCA & VCCB connect with 1.8V.
But when we try with in my design, it is not properly working. Kindly need your support.
Regards,
P. Rajkumar.
In our design we are using one high speed cable to connect with another board. The cable has capacitance nearly 120PF.
Whether the TXB0104 able to drive in that capacitance?
Section 3 of A Guide to Voltage Translation With TXB-Type Translators says:
With regard to capacitive loads, TXB translators are designed to drive up to 70 pF without issue. If capacitive loading is larger than 70 pF, the O.S. will time-out after 10 ns and subsequently turn off before the output voltage is driven fully high or low. From there, the output will continue to rise or fall based on the RC time constant determined by the 4-kΩ buffer, load resistance and capacitive loading. To ensure reliable operation, system designers should keep capacitive loading for the TXB-type devices to 70 pF or less.
