CD74HC132: Characterization data

Part Number: CD74HC132

Hi,

Good day. I hope you are doing fine.

Our customer want to use the CD74HC132 however they want to know first the characterization data/graph for the input leakage current. On the datasheet, it only shows the max value at 25 deg C and all across the operating temperature but they want to have the graph for this. They are requesting for the  following:

1. how the input leakage current varies with temperature over the full temperature range
2. how the input leakage current varies with input voltage

Could you please help us provide this information? I would appreciate your support for this request.

Thank you and have a great day.

Regards,

Cedrick

  • Hi Cedrick,

Unfortunately this device is quite old and the original design & characterization was completed by Harris Semiconductor.  We can only provide and guarantee what's in the datasheet.

That being said, leakage increases with temperature. You will find that the worst case leakage will be at the highest temperature in all standard logic devices.  The worst case value given in the datasheet includes extreme variations in the manufacturing process to cover all possible corners.
