SN74LVC8T245: EN/INA direct connect to GND/VCC

There are several customer use SN74LVC8T245 in traction inverter. Can EN/INA direct connect to GND/VCC? Is there any risk for that? Could you give us some advice? Thanks for your help.

Hey Songzhen,

The OE pin is high impedance so applying Vcc or Gnd directly to it won't cause issues. Many customers that just want to leave the device enabled at all times do this often.
