SN54LVTH245A-SP: Power dissipation calculation -- missing Cpd value

Hi,

I would like to calculate the power dissipation for SN54LVTH245A-SP, but I'm missing the Cpd value, it's not in the data sheet. Is it under a different name in the datasheet? Or can you recommend a way to calculate dynamic power consumption without knowing Cpd?

    Hello,

    From what I've seen, the power dissipation capacitance (Cpd) wasn't specified, characterized, or tested for the LVTH family, so I don't have any date for that to share.

    There's an application report here that describes how you could test this yourself to get an estimate of operation - you could use commercial components to get a very good idea of the value.

    If you're just looking for an estimate, I would recommend using 50pF, which is a reasonable estimate taken from the LVCH family of very similar devices.
