Hi Allison,

All devices we ship are electrically tested prior to being released - the devices functioned when they left TI.

I cannot be certain from a simple image what type of damage has occurred or what effects it might have on the performance of the device. I would recommend to perform an electrical check of the device.

If there is a concern from the customer, the device can be returned to TI through our FA process - this would have to be started with their supplier.
