SN74LVC1G14: Can I replace SN74LV14AD with SN74LVC1G14DBVT ?

Hello Team TI,

My application involves operating at 3.3V supply, in the old design we used SN74LV14AD (Hex Schmitt Inverter) as per application only one gate is utilized and rest of the 5 gates are left idle, is the product SN74LVC1G14DBVT (Single Schmitt Inverter) compatible to replace SN74LV14AD, in our application the gate input is with an pull-up resistor and output is given to FPGA working at 3.3V.

Thank u Clemens Ladisch and TI for introducing single gate IC, hope this is a solution for replacement for 74LV family if at all only a single gate is required in a small footprint?

Hi Sitarama,

We have a lot of lower channel count options, all of which can be a potential replacement to the LV-A family. They each have parameters listed in the data sheets that you will have to review to make sure they fit in your system.
