Hi,
I am using SN74AVC4T245 with both VCCA = VCCB=1.8V. DIR=OE=0
one my input 2B2 is at 3.3V standard toggling from 0 to 3.3V. will this create a problem?
will this 3.3V input converted to 1.8V on the other side that is 2A2 pin?
please help
thanks
Prasanthi
Hey Prasanthi,
I would also like to add that you can switch to the SN74AXC4T245 device which is p2p and an upgrade to the SN74AVC4T245.
Hi,
This did not resolve my issue. by mistake it was marked as resolved.
please reply to the original question as the datasheet says the inputs are 4.6V tolerant.
SN74AVC4T245 VCCA and OE question... - Logic forum - Logic - TI E2E support forums
also the link above says any input is tolerant up to 3.6V
Thanks
Prasanthi
No, this will not create a problem.
Yes, the 3.3 V input will be 1.8 V at the output.
